Hi! I’m Tom. I've been cooking and entertaining people my entire life. Since I can remember, I assisted my mother in the kitchen helping her cook for holidays and dinner parties. By age 8, I was butterflying chicken for cutlets and cooking perfect fried eggs and toast. I landed my first restaurant job when I was 16 as a dishwasher at a neighborhood Italian joint.

I soon found myself loving “the life” and started feeling the calling to be a professional chef. After trying out every position in various restaurants around my hometown of West Chester, PA, I went to culinary school in San Francisco in 2003. I spent three years going to school and then honing my craft in some of SF’s top restaurants.

In 2006, I moved to Chestertown, Maryland and became the executive chef of the Front Room Restaurant at the Imperial Hotel. In 2009, I moved back to San Francisco. Upon arriving, I got the opportunity to be on season six of The Next Food Network Star, which is how I landed the job as the host of Outrageous Food. I currently live in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco with my wife Rachel.
